BRIEF PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sterling Life faced several key challenges. First, its management was not able to generate insurance claim historical reports quickly enough (e.g. 24 hours). To address this, we used ETL to build a DataMart database and then fine tuned their DataMart database, which spanned several decades of data. Secondly, the organization had a significant number of employees and auxiliaries that each had their own Excel spreadsheets and databases to calculate insurance claims and rates. Sterling Life needed to centralize data on a large scale and organize it in logical, coherent way.

We then introduced a process that would allow the company, its employees and auxiliaries to synchronize separate pieces of data into a central database.

CHALLENGE

Develop a high performance and centralized data application that functions seamlessly across 50 states in the U.S. and allow Sterling Life to remain highly competitive in the insurance marketplace

SOLUTION

We built an ASP.NET based application that would help employees and auxiliaries easily enroll customers into supplementary medical and dental insurance plans. This involved developing the application’s architecture, uniting the business logic layer, data access layer and presentation and ensuring that the application can securely process payments.
